Step 9Preferred Hotels and Resorts Status Match
Next on our list is an independent hotel that represents a diverse global portfolio. With five distinctive collections under their umbrella, Preferred Hotels help ensure the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. With their iPrefer Rewards program, you can match your Wyndham Diamond status to their iPrefer Elite Member Level. To get started, go to their website to sign up for their iPrefer Rewards Program. Once enrolled (and you verify your enrollment by clicking on the verification link they send to your email) we can start the status match process which is rather simple. Send an email to their iPrefer customer service department with a request for an upgrade by emailing IPreferemail@preferredhotels.com. Here is a sample email of what to include when you send them the message request:
“Hello!
I just became a member on the iPrefer website and am inquiring to see if there are any status match opportunities available. I have provided my membership number and information along with my status from the competing hotel chain.
Name:
Member #
Address:
Phone:
Competing Hotel Chain:”
In this case we use our Wyndham Diamond Level (which you can send them a picture of your diamond card in the email) as our competing Hotel Chain to get the status match. Within a couple of hours we received an email verifying the status match has been successful by upgrading us to their highest level of Elite.
