Step 4Radisson Club Carson Hotel Status Match
Once you have the Hilton and Marriott Elite statuses under your belt, it’s time to move on to some other top hotels. This next one is optional and it is also important to point out that the Radisson Hotel status match will only match your high tier status from another hotel once per lifetime of the account which lasts for only 1 year. After the expiration of your high status you will need to obtain their reward benefit levels the good old hard way.
Using your newly obtained Hilton Honors Gold, you can email statusmatch@radissonhotels.com to request a status match. Depending on your status from your other hotel brand, (in this case Hilton Honors Gold) Radisson will match you up to their second highest tier status which is Radisson Gold. Even if you try to use Hilton Honors Platinum for a status match, Radisson will only match their second highest tier of Gold. In order to get their highest reward tier of Platinum, that has to be earned the hard way.

If you are set on wanting/trying to become Radisson Platinum, if you have a Radisson Rewards Premier Visa Signature Card, this card comes with an automatic Radisson Gold Status which also comes with 15 qualifying nights towards Radisson Platinum status which gets you a quarter of the way to Platinum status since you need 60 qualifying nights / 30 stays to reach this Radisson reward level.
